Grattis till vinnarna!

SLU är stolt att tillkännage att två av våra mastersstudenter tilldelades pris för presentation av sin uppsats vid årets ELLS Scientific Student Conference 2020.
Konferensen uppmuntrar studenter inom livsvetenskapsområdet att engagera sig, utbyta idéer och diskutera sin egen forskning relaterade till ämnet ”Morgondagens värld - Ett grönt och hållbart samhälle.” I konferensen deltog i 350 studenter online från tio universitet i Europa, Kina, Israel och Nya Zeeland.
Studentvinnarna är:
Markos Managos 1st prize awarded 500 euros, oral presentation within the subject
Innovation in life sciences.
Title of the thesis: Extrusion of grass silage and its effect on feed intake, milk production and ingestive behaviour of dairy cows.
Markos was a student in the Animal Science Master’s Programme at SLU and graduated June 2020.
Rebecca ter Borg 3rd prize oral presentation within the subject
Rural and urban development for thriving communities.
Title of the thesis: Effects of afforestation and crop systems on the water balance in the Ethiopian Highland.
Rebecca was a student in the Soil, Water and Environment Master’s Programme at SLU and graduated in June 2020.
