The webinar series on urban forests, arranged by SLU Urban Futures and Future Forests, starts the spring webinars with a presentation by Johan Östberg from Trädkontoret.

The presentation will show the result from SLU’s large survey regarding municipal management of greenspaces and trees that was carried out in 2016 and 2021. The presentation will display trends, challenges and possibilities for the tree population and how this connects to the industry’s development and the latest research.

The presentation is primarily aimed at municipal administrators and will be held in Swedish.

Biography

Johan Östberg is an associate professor in landscape architecture with direction toward landscape planning. He is a co-owner of Trädkontoret AB och works mostly with project management and assessment of trees.
