Campus-specific information

Alnarp

Academic year 2022/2023

No lectures should be scheduled on the following dates on campus Alnarp:

- August 29, 2022, 8-12 hrs for courses given in the English language or year 1
- January 16, 2023, 8-12 hrs for courses given in the English language

- November 4, 2022, 13-17 hrs (day before All Saints' Day)
- December 23, 2022 – January 2, 2023 (Christmas break)
- April 6, 2023 (day before Easter holiday)

Re-examination dates
- May 3, 2022 (courses in period 2 and 3)

Wednesday afternoons should not be scheduled.

  • May 8, 2024 (courses in period 2 and 3)

Wednesday afternoons should not be scheduled.

  • If a course lecture that is not compulsory is booked on a Wednesdays afternoon it must be stated in the timetable that the lecture is not compulsory. This applies even if a room booking is necessary or not. Scheduling of "independent studies" is acceptable on a Wednesday afternoon.
  • If a course lecture is compulsory and must be booked on a Wednesday afternoon then the teacher must apply for an exemption and justify the reasons and suggest possible solutions. Study excursions are such an exemption example, particularly if they last over several days.
  • General exemptions is to be made for distance program studies, evening courses, and summer courses and commissioned education.

Flyinge

Umeå

Academic year 2022/2023

As a rule, no classes should be scheduled for Wednesday afternoons in order to facilitate the planning of joint activities. A special permission from the programme director of studies is required. No classes during bank holidays.
