For courses on programmes for which PN-LT (the programme board for education in landscape and horticulture) is responsible on campus Alnarp, Wednesday afternoons must not be scheduled

  • The purpose is to enable teachers and students to participate in education-related meetings and events that are not directly connected to the teaching of the course.
  • Scheduling means all compulsory and non-compulsory teaching regardless of whether a lecture room is booked or not.
  • Wednesday afternoons are covered by full-time studies, corresponding to 40 hours of work/week for the student. However, tasks that require work specifically on Wednesday afternoons should be avoided.
  • Dispensation can be applied for by the course leader incl. justification and possibly alternative solutions with the chairman of PN-LT, see link below. Please note that the application also goes to the Student union for an opinion before a decision on exemption is made.
  • General exemption applies to evening courses, summer courses and commissioned training.

You can find the form to apply for exemption on the Swedish website, För lärare i Alnarp.
