Future analysis of the management of urban forests.

The webinar series on urban forests, arranged by SLU Urban Futures and Future Forests, closes the autumn webinars with a presentation by Torgny Lind from the Department of Forest Resource Management.

At the presentation, Torgny Lind will talk about the collaboration project "Future analysis of the management of urban forests" in the municipality of Sundsvall, where the municipality in collaboration with SLU investigated different scenarios for the future management of the municipality’s forests.

The presentation will be held in Swedish.

Torgny Lind (PhD) is an expert on the Heureka decision support system and its applications. He has worked for a long time with analyses of forest resource development over time using scenario analysis with Heureka. He has also worked with sustainability analyses linked to the forest resource where the entire value chain from forest to final product is taken into account.
