SLU makes Top Five in another international university ranking, this time the QS Top Universities which ranks SLU in fourth place in the category Agriculture & Forestry.
– Particularly pleasing is that we are moving up in the ranking, says SLU Vice-Chancellor Peter Högberg. It shows that we are a significant player on the international stage in these disciplins. This is a success that all employees have contributed to and are involved in.
SLU has steadily moved up in the rankings; from a tenth place in 2015 and a seventh place in 2016.
Also, within the field of Veterinary Science, SLU is well placed; in place 28 Worldwide and in Europe in place 12. SLU has also climbed from 43rd place in 2015 through 30 last year to 28 this year.
In first place is the University of Wageningen in the Netherlands, followed by American universities Davis and Cornell, with Berkeley as fifth.
