You have access to your student account in our mail system as long as you are a student at SLU. Your ID (email address) in the mail system is [username]

The student account will be inactivated seven years after the last time you were registered for a course. This means that your mail account also will be inactivated at the same time.

On the page passwords you can find information about getting a new password if you have forgotten it.

Another way to change your password is to click Ctrl+Alt+Del when you have logged on. Then you will see a new menu including an option for changing the password.

When you are logged on to your mail account you can also click Settings, the little gear high up on the right side of the web page, and choose the option for changing the password.

You can also visit the IT department and bring some kind of ID with you. Then you will get help changing the password. Another alternative is to call IT Support (IT-stöd) at 6600 and tell us what subscriber number you have to your mobile phone. If we can verify (for instance via Ladok or Eniro) that the number is connected to you we can send you a new password via SMS.
