Information for those studying on the Master's programme (two-year) EnvEuro. On these pages you will find information about the programme, contact details and the documents governing the degree programme.

Welcome letter

Congratulations on your place at the EnvEuro - Master´s Programme! We look forward to meet you here in Uppsala this autumn.

The EnvEuro autumn semester begins with a compulsory introduction to the program in Copenhagen, Denmark, 18-21 August 2020. These introductory days include the start of the compulsory course Environmental Management in Europe. If the Corona virus travel restrictions are not over by then, the introduction will be online. See information at the international EnvEuro web site.

The autumn semester 2020 begins with roll call and study information on campus.

Date: Monday 31 August

Time and place: On the pages for new students, you will find information when the roll call for your programme begins and which room the roll call will be in.

On the pages for new students, you will find all the information you need as a new student at SLU, including information about the roll-call and the orientation days. The orientation days are not mandatory but we recommend that you attend them. They take place 26-28 of August, before the semester starts, and provide essential and useful information about your stay in Sweden and your studies at SLU.

Application process

Applications to the program should be submitted to the EnvEuro consortium through the application portal at University of Copenhagen. Information on how to apply and which documents to submit can be found at the homepage of the EnvEuro consortium.

EU/EEA/Swiss citizens apply between 16 January and 15 April (deadline 1 March if you want to study the first year in Copenhagen). Others apply between 15 November and 15 January.

Independant Project

What are the rules for those doing an independent project as part of the EnvEuro programme?

In order to be awarded the degree of Master of Science, you must carry out an independent project/degree project at master level (A2E) worth at least 30 credits. All independent projects have a course syllabus and the course schedule indicates when these courses are offered.

What specific requirements are there for the independent project on my programme? These are indicated in Appendix 3 of the programme syllabus.

Work plan A work plan must be drawn up for all independent projects. You will do this together with your supervisor.
