Big up to all the instagrammers! Are you growing your own beans, lentils or peas? Are you doing research about pulses in Sweden or abroad? Or do you just love to cook and eat them? Whatever your relation to pulses is, the Swedish International Agricultural Network Initiative (SIANI) invites you to share your best shot in their Instagram contest! If you are based in Sweden and like pulses, you are eligible to participate.
To participate simply post your photo on Instagram, write a compelling story or a yummy recipe (in Swedish or English), use #sianipulses and tag @sianiagri in the photo. You can also send your contribution to Johannes Ernstberger. SIANI will post all the contributions on their Instagram profile. The best submissions will be displayed at the event about pulses at the Royal Swedish Academy of Agriculture and Forestry, KSLA in Stockholm on 14th of December 2016. The three best contributions will receive great prices! The contest as well as the event is SIANI's contribution to the International Year of Pulses 2016.
SLU Global is collaborating with SIANI along the Sustainable Agricultural Production and Food Security. The theme is an entry point for an enriched synergy between SLU and SIANI. The theme provides an opportunity to strengthen research capacities and facilitates connections between research disciplines, institutes, the community of practice and decision makers.
