Everybody eats everybody: the art of conveying something in pictures

Welcome to an open lecture and workshop (registration required) where you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of communication and image use.

During the lecture, illustrator Aron Landahl will talk about his experience of working with illustration for different purposes. This will be followed by a discussion about the possibilities of illustration and a chance to ask questions about illustration. The discussion will be moderated by artist Johanna Hästö.

During the workshop, participants will carry out exercises aimed at developing a greater understanding and awareness of the use of images, image as linguistic expression and the potential of illustration. Practical exercises are interspersed with reflection. Participants will not create illustrations for actual use, but will try to apply different kinds of imagery to things they think might need to be illustrated.
