Do you need a break from your studies, or do you want to meet new friends at SLU? Welcome to join our online book club where we discuss fiction about important topics in a social and casual setting. This time we explore LGBTQ+ works of fiction.
This winter we discuss the book "Never anyone but you" by Rupert Thomson. The book description on Goodreads reads:
“The true story of a love affair between two extraordinary women becomes a literary “tour de force” in this novel that recreates the surrealist movement in Paris and the horrors of the two world wars with a singular incandescence and intimacy.”
The club meets twice online. Before the first meeting we read the book’s first half, and at the second we discuss the whole.
