On June 4, 2019, the Swedish Center for Animal Welfare, SCAW, organizes a seminar focusing on natural disasters and its impact on animals and their welfare. How can we prepare for disasters such as prolonged drought leading to feed shortages and long slaughter queues, fires requiring rapid animal evacuation, storms that cause long-term power outages and communication and transport difficulties?
We welcome the county administrative staff, veterinarians, firefighters and others interested in animal welfare in crises.
