The programme is preliminary and may be subject to change. The Orientation programme starts with pre-arrival sessions for incoming exchange students on 11 January 2024, and the academic semester starts 15 January.

11 January

  • Pre-arrival orientation, 13.00 - 15.00, online

Introduction to studies at SLU - The mobility team welcomes you to SLU together with information about your studies, study support, IT systems, SLU University Library and Student Union Board.

12 January

  • Pre-arrival orientation, 10.00 - 12.00, online

Introduction to Sweden - The Mobility Team will give you a brief introduction to Sweden and Swedish culture. 

15 January (Semester start)

  • Drop-in online, 12.00 - 13.00

17 January

  • Meet and greet on your campus, 13.00 - 15.00

The Mobility team invites you to enjoy a moment of mingle with other exchange students and your coordinators during a traditional Swedish fika on campus!

    • In Alnarp we will meet in front of the Servicecenter in Alnarpsgården.

    • In Umeå we will meet in front of the Servicecenter in the main entrance.

    • In Uppsala we will meet in Ulls Hus at Servicecenter in the main entrance.
