Forestry decision-making bases

Decision in the forestry is based on various basis, and this course focuses on how these bases can be produced. The course acts partly about how the biological preconditions in the wood properties give preconditions for the use of the raw material and partly about the economic tool that is used to analyse minor companies in the forest sector. A large part of the course is devoted to how forestry decision-making bases can be produced and be presented in a statistical correct way and how geographical information technology (GIT) can be used for this. Apart from lectures the course contains several compulsory exercises.
