The registration to this year’s Forest Student Summit is now open! It will be held on October 18th at SLU in Skinnskatteberg. The deadline for registration is May 15th. The Forest Student Summit is a full day of excursions, information and networking where you will meet students studying forestry at the other SLU campuses. In the evening there will be festivities organized by the Forest student union in Skinnskatteberg. The event is open to all students enrolled in forestry programs. It was originally initiated by the students and is now arranged by the student unions and the Faculty of forest sciences.

Practical information

The meals during the day will be free of charge and the costs of travel and accommodation will be sponsored by the faculty. Students traveling from Umeå and Alnarp will be sponsored with 2500 SEK, and travels from Uppsala will be sponsored with 1500 SEK. Festivity costs will be at own expense. After the registration deadline, reception of sponsorship will be confirmed individually to students that sign up. In case the sponsor budget does not suffice to all interested students, this will be clearly announced – and there will be a choice to join without sponsorship, or to not participate this year. Together with the confirmation you will receive further information.
