New SLU course: Qualified Internship for Sustainable Development

Published: 17 January 2022

The new course Qualified Internship for Sustainable Development, 30 ETCS, is now open for application. The goal is that SLU's students learn first-hand how sustainability is addressed in workplaces of their interest. The course is offered as an independent course at Master’s level.

The students will during 16 weeks (minimum) participate in a full-time internship, with an appointed supervisor within a host organization. The purpose is that the internship has a clear relation to global sustainable development and trains the student to work independently and in cooperation with others.

“Students enrolled in this internship will get a valuable opportunity to reflect upon challenges in translating principles of sustainability to real world job environments”, says course leader Adan Martinez-Cruz.

“As a student you are expected to identify the work place, national or international, where you would like to carry out your internship”, Adan continues.

You are welcome to contact Adan for support in your search and decision.
