Welcome to an exhibition where embroidery art takes shape around red-listed species. In collaboration with the SLU library, Täcklebo Broderiakademi (Täcklebo Embroidery Academy) exhibits embroideries of endangered species.
The organisation has local groups throughout Sweden and at the exhibition in Alnarp, members from the local groups in Skåne are exhibiting their work. The participants have mainly based their embroideries on endangered species in Skåne, found at SLU Swedish Species Information Centre.
Täcklebo Embroidery Academy’s aim is to "show the possibilities of embroidery as a means of artistic expression and to strengthen the sense of belonging between us who embroider." Read more about Täcklebo Embrodiery Academy here:
The other two main SLU campuses will also exhibit embroidery of endangered species in collaboration with local clubs belonging to the Täcklebo Embroidery Academy. Read more the other exhibits here.
