Conference: Getting our Cities Right #3 - From Green Infrastructure to Urban Forestscapes

Welcome to the third conference in the series 'Getting our Cities Right' organised in Umeå by the Future Platform SLU Urban Futures. During two days in June, we will look at the relationship between urban landscapes, trees and forests, from a transdisciplinary perspective - widening our view of both "the urban" and "the forest".

The conference will explore the Urban Forestscapes notion bringing together three components: Planning & development; Spaces for humans and non-humans and finally Urban Forestscapes as a resource for the building industry. The first day, June 7, will be dedicated to keynote presentations, while the second day, June 8, will be spent on multiple site visits in the vicinity of Umeå (e.g. the Röbäcksdalen research station).
