SLU reads!

Do you need a break from your studies, or do you want to meet new friends at SLU? Welcome to join our book club where we together discuss fiction in a social and casual setting.

This semester we read the book "Transcendent Kingdom" by Yaa Gyasi. Gyasi tells the story of Gifty, who through science and her fascination with the human brain tries to understand what happened to her own family. At the same time, her interest in her family’s Ghanaian roots grows stronger.  

All participants receive the book free of charge. If you have a library card at any public library, you can also choose to borrow the book from there.  

No previous knowledge needed. Limited number of seats.
