Late application to SLU programmes

Did you miss the regular application deadline? Late application to SLU programmes are open and you still have the chance to apply. All late applications, including Master's programmes taught in English, must be submitted via the Swedish application site antagning.se. Check the late application guide to submit your application.

You must, of course, meet the entry requirements. Late applications are processed in the order they are submitted.

Students who submit a late application are ranked by application date, not by credits, grades or results from the Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test. There is no guarantee you will be admitted if you submit a late application.

Late application for SLU courses

SLU will open for late applications to courses where there is still a chance of admission on 15 July.

This applies even if you are admitted to a programme and will only be taking programme courses.

Students who submit a late application are ranked by application date, not by credits, grades or results from the Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test. There is no guarantee you will be admitted if you submit a late application.

How to submit a late application for SLU courses:

  1. Log on to universityadmissions.se.
If you are a degree programme student at SLU, use your SLU user details to log on. This will display the courses on your programme.
  2. Make sure you select the right semester.
  3. Search for the course(s) or programme(s) you are interested in.

Just because a course or programme is open for late applications does not necessarily mean that there are places left. If there are, you may be offered a place even if the deadline for applications has passed. You must, of course, meet the entry requirements. Late applications are processed in the order they are submitted.

Follow the instructions at universityadmissions.se for submitting documentation to demonstrate your eligibility, if you have not already done so.

You may find it easier to first look for the course you want to apply for on the SLU course search page. Then go to universityadmissions.se to see if it is still open for late applications.

If you have submitted a late application, you will be notified by email or regular mail once your application has been processed. You can then log on to your account at universityadmissions.se to see your admission decision.
