Experimental horticulture
Hortikultur och odling grundar sig både i vetenskap och beprövad erfarenhet. Men hur ska vi förhålla oss till detta? Går det att lita på trädgårdstipsen och de gamla odlingssanningarna? Fungerar de vetenskapliga teorierna i praktiken? Att jobba praktiskt och bli jordig om fingrarna kan också vara akademiskt. Det handlar bara om tankesätt, metod och viljan att underbygga sina handlingar med hållbara argument. Det här är kursen som länkar ihop vetenskap och beprövad erfarenhet för att syna hortikulturella myter och ta reda på nya sanningar. Kursen är fristående och campusbaserad. Du kommer få jobba mycket praktiskt, både ensam och i grupp, med fokus på att odla för att besvara frågeställningar.

Approved presentation, assignment, and participation during the whole process.
If a student has failed an examination, the examiner has the right to issue supplementary assignments. This applies if it is possible and there are grounds to do so.
The examiner can provide an adapted assessment to students entitled to study support for students with disabilities following a decision by the university. Examiners may also issue an adapted examination or provide an alternative way for the students to take the exam.
If this syllabus is withdrawn, SLU may introduce transitional provisions for examining students admitted based on this syllabus and who have not yet passed the course.
