Ethical theories and approaches are presented at a basic level. By working with scientific literature and describing the results during the course, the students will increase their insight into the importance of evidence-based veterinary nursing.
Ethical issues in animal husbandry are covered in lectures, group exercises and compulsory seminars. The student gains a further insight into the professional role of the veterinary nurse by means of a study visit.
Animal handling includes practice on living animals, where ergonomics and health and safety aspects are also included.
