Become a Student Ambassador at SLU!

Are you studying a Master’s programme at SLU Campus Uppsala or SLU Campus Umeå? Do you enjoy student life and want to share your experience with future students? Are you comfortable using social media and connecting with people online?
If so, we’d love you to join our Student Ambassador Team!
We’re looking for two Digital Student Ambassadors – one from Uppsala and one from Umeå – to help inspire prospective students and showcase life at SLU.
As a Student Ambassador, you’ll:
- Share your student life on Instagram @studyatslu through posts, stories, and reels
- Chat with prospective students via Unibuddy
- Support applicants and help them feel welcome at SLU
- Represent the diverse and vibrant student voice at SLU
Time commitment: approx. 2 hours per week
Pay: 130 SEK/hour
Requirements
- Post content on Instagram at least once per week
- Respond to Unibuddy messages within 24 hours on weekdays
- Stay in regular contact with your team and supervisor
What makes a great Ambassador?
You are:
- A friendly and engaging communicator
- Positive and enthusiastic about studying at SLU
- Reliable, professional, and responsive
- Comfortable creating content and being in front of the camera

- Your name, email address, study programme, and home country
- A short letter or video introducing yourself and explaining why you’d like to join
- Links to three Instagram accounts that inspire you
- (Optional) Any social media experience or examples of your work
Application deadline: 10 February 2026
Timeline
The role starts as soon as possible and runs until August 2026.
If selected, you’ll receive training and ongoing support from SLU and Unibuddy.
