Tree relocation to begin shortly

Published: 02 September 2025

On 15 September, the contractor VEAB will set up on the Ultuna campus, after which the tree relocation can commence.

Around 150 oak trees will be moved from Ulls väg to new planting sites across the campus. Twelve of these will form part of a research project, with the trial area located on the lawn north of Gerda Nilssons väg.

The relocation will take place over four to six weeks. It will cause some traffic disruptions, primarily along pedestrian and cycle paths. Bus and car traffic is not expected to be significantly affected. However, traffic may need to be halted temporarily at certain times. All traffic measures will be clearly signposted, and so-called flaggers will be present to direct traffic.
