Oaks to Be Relocated from Ulls väg

SLU has contracted a tree specialist to carry out the relocation of the oaks that were planted along Ulls väg in the early 2010s.
The oaks will be given new planting sites across the campus, and 12 of them will be included in a research project aimed at studying how the trees respond to the relocation.
The trees will be moved using a specialised machine designed to make the process as gentle as possible for the trees.
The relocation is expected to begin in September and take just over a month to complete.
