Docent Lecturer of the year 2023-2024 appointed by the NJ Faculty.

The Faculty of Natural Resources and Agricultural Sciences has now named the best Docent lecturer of the year 2023-2024, and the prize was awarded to Noémi Gonda, researcher at the Department of Urban and Rural Development. She shares the award with Jennifer Anderson, researcher at Department of Aquatic Sciences and Assessment.

Noémi Gonda is active in the field of Rural development and her research concerns justice and conflict resolution in resource management and the links between environmental governance and the development of authoritarian regimes.

She gave her Docent lecture on the 18th of March 2024, and it had the title: Climate Justice and Democracy – Auhtoritarianism and Justice Challenges in Sustainable Rural Development.
