Waste Management

The aim of the course is to give knowledge on systems and technologies for managing municipal waste, and to understand how different treatment technologies (incineration, composting, digestion and landfilling) impact on the use of resources in the waste. The course covers the different treatments function and impact on environment and resource. The focus of the course is on the biodegradable fraction of the waste.
