Genetics, Cell Biology and Microbiology

Information from the course leader

Hej!

Kursledarna German Martinez

Hello!

You are warmly welcome to the course Genetics, cell biology and microbiology, BI1440. We start with roll call, course information and course overview on Monday, September 1st at 1:15 p.m. This will take place in O1 hall at Undervisningshuset. Here you will find the schedule and information about course literature.

During the first part of the course we will cover genetics and cell biology (September 1nd –October 3th) and in the final part microbiology (October 6th – October 30th). During the lectures, we will cover basic knowledge in genetics, cell biology and microbiology. This knowledge is also the basis for carrying out the mandatory elements of laboratories, problem solving, group exercises and exams. We therefore strongly recommend that you attend these lectures.

You can register yourself for the course starting one week before the start of the course until a few days after the start of the course. You do this on the student web via the link "My studies". In order for you to be registered on the course, you need to meet the prerequisites, which include basic knowledge in chemistry equivalent to 10 credits of which 5 credits in biochemistry, see the course plan on the course website.

If you have not yet achieved these prerequisites, please contact us. If you have other questions regarding the course, you are also welcome to contact us.

Sincerely,

Course leader German Martinez
