Scholarships for studies, placements or degree projects abroad

Erasmus+ placements

Would you like to go on a placement abroad?
Erasmus+ offers scholarships for full-time placements at companies, organisations or universities in another EU country. You can also use the scholarship to go abroad to collect data for an independent project such as a Bachelor or Master’s thesis.

Placements must be between 60 and 180 days. You must live in the host country while the placement is ongoing.

Erasmus+ for studies

Would you like to study at another European university?
Apply to become an Erasmus student. Erasmus+ is an exchange programme funded by the European Commission. All Erasmus+ exchange students receive a scholarship.

The scholarship is a grant that helps you cover any additional costs during your time abroad. To be eligible for the scholarship, you need to spend a minimum of 60 days in your host country.

Minor Field Studies (MFS)

MFS is a SEK 30 000 scholarship from the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). It is available for students who want to collect data from abroad for their Bachelor or Master’s thesis. To be eligible, you must be planning a stay of a minimum of eight consecutive weeks in a low or middle-income country.
