Worth Knowing: How to diagnose and cure osteoarthritis in the future?

Horse with rider. Photo.

What does the future of osteoarthritis treatment look like? Eva Skiöldebrand, professor at the Department of Biomedical Science and Veterinary Public Health, tells us more.

Osteoarthritis is the most common joint disease among humans and also the most common reason for pain and lameness among horses. With a focus on comparative medicine, Professor Eva Skiöldebrand details what the future treatment of this common disease might look like at the second Worth Knowing-lecture at Ultuna this fall.

Soup is served outside the studio from 12.00. The lecture starts at 12.15. Please note that food is not allowed in the Studio.

If you do not have the opportunity to see the lecture on site, it can also be streamed live and watched afterwards on SLU Play.

Worth knowing

Worth knowing is the SLU University Library’s popular science lunchtime lecture series. Here, exciting and recent research results from SLU are presented. We offer a light lunch, and after the lecture listeners have the opportunity to ask questions. Worth knowing lectures are organised in Umeå and Uppsala.
