Dual-career support gets top marks

Elite sports students at SLU are very satisfied with the support they receive for dual careers, according to the Swedish Sports Confederation's annual survey.

The students score SLU above the national average on all points – flexibility in studies and sport, support from teachers and other staff, and health and well-being.

‘We’re really happy that our elite-sports students feel we provide them with the best conditions to combine their sport with studies’ says Anna-Lena Holgersson, project manager and coordinator for SLU as an elite-sports-friendly university.

With 15 students today – and more on the way – SLU is showing that it is possible to be both elite-sports-friendly and academically outstanding.
