SLU IT will be upgrading its login methods for several systems this autumn

Published: 03 October 2024

These upgrades are being made to increase security and streamline how the systems are used.

You will still log in using the same username and password as always. It is unlikely you will notice any changes, although the login window may look slightly different for some systems during the upgrade period.

Before 5 November: if a new window opens and asks you to select your institution to log in, you will need to select ‘New Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences’ or ‘Nya Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet’.

The work should be completed by 5 November. The new login method will then change its name and be the only option available. You will then need to select ‘Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet’ or ‘the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences’.

SLU IT has worked to minimise any impact the transition will have on signing in to these systems. If you encounter problems when trying to log in, please contact the Service Desk for assistance.

Instructions leading up to 5 November

  1. Select the new login method, either ‘New Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences’ or ‘Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet’.
  2. If the new login method is not displayed, click ‘Add another institution’ or ‘Lägg till ny institution’. Select ‘New Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences’ or ‘Nya Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet’.
