Read Den barmhärtige mördaren: En berättelse om de sista statarna and join a book club in collaboration between SLU University Library and Lomma Library.
Patrik Svensson made his breakthrough with his debut novel Ålevangeliet, which was awarded the August Prize and received international acclaim. The book Den barmhärtige mördaren, nominated for the August Prize in 2025, is an exciting and personal story about a moving human destiny and the last farm labourers.
Once you have registered for the book club, you can borrow the book from the library. After the book club, you will have the opportunity to meet the author Patrik Svensson, who will visit Lomma Library to talk about his book and chat with the audience.

Everyone is welcome to the author meeting in Lomma, but if you have participated in the book club, you are guaranteed a place. Take the opportunity to ask the author all your questions directly!
