SLU Mobility
The Mobility Team provides information about studies abroad, selects and nominates exchange students, administers scholarships etc.

Note that cash is not accepted on buses and trains, but you can pay by card. Find travel information and timetables for regional and local buses and trains on the UL website or download their app.
Once you have arrived in Uppsala, take regional (yellow) bus number 100 or 101, or local (green) bus number 4 from Uppsala Central Station to Campus Ultuna. From Flogsta student accommodation, bus number 12 goes directly to/from SLU.
1. Take the Öresund train to Malmö Central Station.
2. Transfer to Citybus 4 (green bus) heading towards Segevång, and alight at Värnhem.
3. At Värnhem, switch to bus 139 (yellow bus) towards Lund, and arrive at Alnarp campus in approximately 15 to 20 minutes.

The nearest train station is located in Åkarp, 2 km from Alnarp.

From E6 - take the exit to Lomma. Turn right and at the roundabout at Circle K gas station to the left towards Alnarp.
From E22 - take exit 19, Lund S, first road 108 towards Kävlinge, then road 103 towards Lomma, and at the roundabout at Circle K gas station, turn left towards Alnarp.
From E6/E20/E22 N (outer ring road): exit at exit 17, Helenelund, turn left, drive past Burlöv's own home, continue past Burlöv Center department store, straight ahead at the roundabout just before Circle K gas station and to the right out towards Västkustvägen towards Åkarp. Turn left towards Alnarp at the exit in Åkarp.
Umeå is located 640 kilometres north of Stockholm. Flights from Stockholm take about 60 minutes. You can fly with SAS or Norwegian from Stockholm Arlanda or with Flyg BRA from Stockholm Bromma Airport.
The airport bus (line 80) takes you to the city centre and Vasaplan (local bus center), where you can transfer to a local bus heading to SLU Campus.
How to buy your ticket for the airport shuttle bus:
Taxis are available outside the arrivals terminal at Umeå Airport. It takes approximately 25–30 minutes, depending on traffic, and costs around 400 SEK (fixed price).
The travel time by train from Stockholm varies between 6 – 10 hours. If you travel by night train, you can choose between a couchette or a sleeping car, where a couchette is a cheaper alternative. An advantage of taking the train is that you arrive close to the campus (Umeå Östra) or in the city centre of Umeå.
This is the closest train stop to SLU Campus in Umeå. From here, walk towards Umeå University Campus and follow the signs to SLU Campus building. The walk takes about 10–15 minutes from the train station.
If you arrive here, go to Vasaplan in the city centre, where you can catch a local bus to campus.
