Objectives
The course provides fundamentals in the subject of anatomy for clinical work on the horse's musculoskeletal system, based on practical applied and comparative aspects (horse compared to dog).
Upon completion of the course, the student should be able to:
- describe, in Swedish and Latin, the anatomy of the musculoskeletal system in horses
- practically apply the anatomy of the musculoskeletal system to dogs and horses during palpation and motion analysis
Content
The course includes theoretical components in the form of lectures and practical activities such as demonstrations, dissections, and various types of exercises. Some exercises are mandatory. The course covers the anatomy of the musculoskeletal system from an applied and clinical perspective.
Grading form
