Animal Science - a scientific approach

The course intends to provide general knowledge of theory within animal science and the methods that are used within the research domain. The course also intends to give the students the opportunity to reflect on scientific theory in relation to sustainability aspects and ethical challenges.

Welcome to Sweden!

SLU invite you to arrive earlier than the course start date to join our Orientation Programme and Roll-Call in Uppsala/Ultuna. The orientation programme, held from August 26-30, 2024, is designed for international students and exchange students. While attendance is not mandatory, we highly recommend it as it provides valuable information about Sweden, SLU, and an opportunity to meet your fellow students. The programme includes both online and on-campus activities, ensuring you get a comprehensive introduction.

The roll-call day on September 2 is compulsory for all newly admitted master's programme students. If you cannot attend due to special reasons, please inform SLU by emailing admissions@slu.se by 09:00 on August 28.

Literature list has not been published due to that we do not have any obligatory course book. The literature used in this course will be scientific papers that we will provide tou with during the course.
