Race For The Baltic

Internship Description

As an Event and Communications Intern you will be able to work with our main events and outreach activities. This includes event management, outreach, invitations, brainstorming ideas, coordination of trips and other tasks. There is some flexibility in terms of start date and duration for this internship; however, we are keen to have someone join us in the beginning of 2021!

Key Responsibilities

Event support

Plan and support execution of our high-level events with businesses, government, NGOs, and other key stakeholders, e.g. Baltic Sea City Accelerator Events, Almedalen and other Baltic Sea-related conferences

Communications: Take a supporting role in the day-to-day management of our communications, and outreach

Admin: Provide general office and admin support for the organisation Requirements and qualifications

  • Fluency in English is required; fluency in either Estonian, Finnish, Latvian, Lithuanian or Polish is a plus
  • Proficiency in Swedish is required
  • Interest in or experience in planning events IRL and digitally
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English
  • Eagerness to learn and work in a friendly, collaborative and dynamic environment
  • Proactive and able to work independently
  • Strong interest in the environment, sustainability or other social issues. A special interest in Ocean/Baltic Sea issues is viewed as a plus but not required
  • Able to commit to approx. 20 hours per week (flexible) for at least 12 weeks or more

Flexible working: mix of in office (in Central Stockholm) and working from home (may change depending on Covid-19) What we can offer you:
