As an international student at SLU can take your first and second dose of vaccine in the region where you study even if you do not have a Swedish social security number.

If you are an international student

Are you an international student at a university college or university in Skåne? Then you can get both your vaccination shots in Skåne.

Book an appointment by calling one of these vaccination units:

If you have a Swedish social security number and bank ID

If you have a Swedish social security number and bank ID you can book an appointment online through 1177.se.

Umeå

Drop-in-vaccination at campus Umeå

Region Västerbotten have a drop-in centre for vaccination against COVID-19 at campus Umeå. The vaccination centre administers both dose one and dose two regardless of where dose one was taken.

International students are welcome to the drop-in-centre as well as Swedish students.

If you do not have a Swedish personal identity number and want to book an appointment

You can still be vaccinated even if you do not have a Swedish personal identity number. You book an appointment by attending a health centre of your choice.

You will need to show some form of ID, such as an LMA card or EU card. Take your co-ordination number along, if you have one. The health care centre will give you a temporary number, which you need to keep until you have been given the second dose of the vaccine. 

Uppsala

Vaccination bus from campus Ultuna

Have you not taken your first or second dose of covid-19 vaccine? SLU will charter a bus for students on 16 and 22 September that will take you to Gottsunda's vaccination centre where you will be vaccinated.

The bus leaves from the main entrance to Ulls hus (Almas allé 8). After your vaccination the bus will take you back to campus Ultuna. It is primarily Pfizer's vaccine that will be used. If you want Moderna as dose two, it can be arranged.

Please register for the bus as soon as possible. You can choose from the following dates and times:

  • Thursday 16 September with departure times from Ultuna 10:00 and 11:00.
  • Wednesday 22 September with departure time 15:00 from Ultuna.

The seats will not be filled so you can keep your distance from others on the bus. The bus transfer and vaccination are free of charge. 

At the time of vaccination, bring identification and vaccine card (if you have received dose 1).

Drop-in-vaccination

Students in Uppsala can get vaccinated at the nearest vaccination health centre without an appointment. If the vaccine runs out, you will be given a new appointment. International student are welcome as well as Swedish student.

If you do not have a Swedish personal identity number and an e-ID, you can book an appointment for a covid-19 test at Kungsgärdets health center by calling telephone number 018-617 35 64. If you would like to get testet closer to campus Ultuna, you can make an appointment at Gottsunda health center by calling 018-611 78 10.
