Summary
This thesis project analyzes the effects of conflict on nonfarm enterprises in Nigeria, highlighting the crucial role of such enterprises in rural economies for income diversification and resilience against shocks. Drawing upon the data from the Living Standards Measurement Study - Integrated Surveys on Agriculture (LSMS-ISA) and the Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project (ACLED), the research uses pooled Ordinary Least Squares (OLS) and fixed-effect regression models to study the impact of conflict.
