Summary
The Swedish forest sector is facing large challenges as the climate politics is changing. There is an increasing pressure on the forest and how it can be used to increase the uptake of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Activities to increase the carbon sink in Swedish forests are therefore getting an increasingly central part in dialogues about future climate policy instruments. The objective of this study is therefore to get a deeper understanding of the stakeholders perspective of an increased carbon sink in the swedish forests and what factors are important to create legitimacy in a future policy instrument for increased carbon sink.
