Clearcut Tourism - A framework for a forest regeneration initiative based on sustainable forestry and public participation involvement

Summary

Intensive forestry has its impact on our society and environment by creating landscape fragmentation, increasing the number of red-listed species by removing their habitats in a big scale and therefore negatively impacting ecosystem services that are supporting all lives on Earth. This thesis proposes a framework for private landowners to regenerate their clearcut forest via a public participatory initiative.
